Tips & Things to Know
- Affiliation & Accreditation: The programmes are affiliated with the University of Education, Winneba, and AUCDT is accredited. This ensures that degrees are recognised.
- Aggregates / Grades: It’s not just about having passes; the specific aggregate (total of your marks), number of credit passes and relevant electives matter. Always check the most updated cut-offs or requirements.
- Relevant Electives: For design and technology fields, relevant electives could include Art, Technical Drawing, Visual Arts, Textile Design, Graphic Design, etc. If you’re missing electives, some programmes might not accept you.
- Mature candidates take an entrance test: This is very important if you are over the maturity age but lack some academic requirements.
- International students: Equivalence and proof of English may slow down the application, so start early.
